I am pretty excited to announce that I will have a tent at the Brookfield Art Fair. I am really excited about this as this is my second time participating in an art fair. So if you live in the Chicago area, please do stop by it is an entire weekends so two whole days!!

Also I am really, really excited to say that my artwork was used in the advertising for this event.

I can’t believe it is Tuesday already! Where is this week going. Well actually I am going to be heading off to SAW in less than 24 hours and am a big mix of emotions. Just have some last minute packing to do. Hard to believe it is finally here.

I have no idea where the last week has gone. I just realized I haven’t posted here in quite a few days. The reason for the absence is that I have been getting ready for my Closing Reception for the Gallery Walk this Saturday, also been packing for Squam Art Workshops and anxiously awaiting next week to get here. I will also be selling at vendor night there too, and feel totally unprepared, even though I am trying my best to make sure I have it all figured out by next Wednesday!! The butterflies and nerves are setting in, but I know it will all go away once I get there. Last year proved that.

I’m just a tad late in announcing this show here, but better late than never. I will be participating in the Brookfield Gallery Walk & Silent Auction. The Gallery Walk goes on from August 29th – September 12th in the Grand Blvd Business District in Brookfield, IL. If your local and can make it that would be awesome.t

Happy Friday to you, hope this was a very productive week for you. I know mine was, and I get to go golfing tomorrow!

I have wanted to share these with you for a few weeks now but for some reason I kept forgetting to post them. No better day than creative Friday. I painted this series for a show that is going on right now at the APW Gallery called Art on Record. All of these paintings are painted onto vinyl records (a challenge as I have never painted on vinyl before) I love how these turned out and am actually working on a whole new series on records.

The faces are the actual record, it didn’t photograph as well as I had hoped.
