I am pretty excited to announce that I will have a tent at the Brookfield Art Fair. I am really excited about this as this is my second time participating in an art fair. So if you live in the Chicago area, please do stop by it is an entire weekends so two whole days!!

Also I am really, really excited to say that my artwork was used in the advertising for this event.

As I am feeling overwhelmed by all the information coming my way and in the process of digesting it, as well as getting ready to spend five whole days in Seattle! I feel as if I will never catch up with myself, and the never-ending to-do list that just keeps on growing. Throw work into the mix, and a commute that just seems to get longer day-by-day and I really am grasping for my sanity. The odd thing is inside all of this anxiety, rushing, fear and overwhelm there is an odd calm just under the surface. Not sure yet what it all means, but I know I’m on my way to finding out.

I am feeling a bit overwhelmed lately with all the great ideas and information I am getting through Kelly Rae Robert’s e-course Taking Flight. In a good, the flood gates have opened, and let the creativity come flowing out of me kind of way! I’m on a roll this week, and hope that I can keep the momentum going. I have a lot of painting and organizing to do as I am participating in an art fair next month. More on that real soon!

I am getting distracted over here as I keep thinking of things I want to look at, or ideas to write down. So will wrap up this post. The painting above is part of a series; I hope to share those here soon as well. Lots of cool things coming this summer I can hardly wait to share them all with you!

I liked creating the art montage for the last post so much, that I created another one! These are a few of the paintings and illustrations I have been working on over the past week.

Today, while in my studio things just flowed for the first time in weeks. It was as if all the fears, and mental blocks just flew away. I am not sure how long this will last, and if tonight was the only a one time thing. I really hope it does stick around though, and that I can get back into creating, really creating from my heart. Not just forcing it as it has felt like I’ve been doing for the past few weeks. Not sure where the shift came from, but am happy it’s happened. Now just need to get on top of some updating around here, and hopefully some momentum going with posting.
