The blank wall in my basement studio that I’ve decided to liven up a bit with a mural. I have a general plan of what it will look like, got some red, yellow, and blue paint. I am ready to get started.
The wall has been primed, and the start of the largest painting I have ever worked on!! I am video taping the whole process and can’t wait to see how this progresses.

Fruit – Pikes Place, Seattle, Washington
The photo pertains to nothing in this post, yummy fruit though! Not really sure about that title either, but well it’s the past day in the life of Moi!
So the water thing…yeah my studio, a bit water logged. We had some really bad storms come through last night and the power went out, and the sump pump well didn’t pump so we got water in the basement, which meant my studio was a bit water logged. Luckily i had no paintings on the floor, and nothing other than trash needed to go out. What this does mean though is there will be no painting for a few days, at least not on canvas. I have a bit of a surprise for you, and my studio this weekend. Will share soon.
Now the press part…
so the art fair I am going to be a part of, that I mentioned in my last post, is a featured article in the local paper. I am mentioned in this article.
:New paintings coming soon
:A special art surprise to share with you
:Website update in the next few weeks

Some paintings in the works, don’t mind the blurry photos took these with my iphone. Gotta work with what you got sometimes.

As I am feeling overwhelmed by all the information coming my way and in the process of digesting it, as well as getting ready to spend five whole days in Seattle! I feel as if I will never catch up with myself, and the never-ending to-do list that just keeps on growing. Throw work into the mix, and a commute that just seems to get longer day-by-day and I really am grasping for my sanity. The odd thing is inside all of this anxiety, rushing, fear and overwhelm there is an odd calm just under the surface. Not sure yet what it all means, but I know I’m on my way to finding out.
Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves. ~Henry David Thoreau
