I can not believe I actually did illustration friday this week. I spent more time this weekend in my studio (about 4-5 hours) than in the past month and a half. This past weekend it really took everything I had to get myself back up and in the game. I have been down and out of it here for awhile. So without further ado, here it is…Primitive.

I have my theories about faeries. I think they do exist…we just need to look a little closer at certain butterflies. :o)

I remember when I was little and I would try to hide under my blanket. It never covered me all the way as it wasn’t the biggest blanket. But I would pretend to be in a totally different world when I was under my blanket…

This is also my first painting of 2008, I actually completed around 125 paintings last year. Not to bad I am hoping to top 200 this year though.

Sometimes the littlest things are the most powerful…

So instead of doing a painting I actually pulled out the colored pencils and this is what happened…

Guess if you had excess arms and legs you could have a good excuse for that extensive shoe and purse collection.

In case your wondering Yes I did start drawing in a book…I bought this book awhile ago at a yard sale as I love old books pre-1950 I have quite a collection actually but I have always wanted to draw on the pages. So I did!
