Lots of ideas swirling around in my mind lately. An aweful lot of ideas for paintings, that i’m having trouble getting them all down so that I don’t forget. So that maybe if I just sit down and focus I can get all that color out onto the canvas and find myself (my mind) again. I find sometimes ideas have to float in that mushy brain matter for a few months before they are ready to come out, before they are ready for the world to see them. Sometimes they get taken over by other ideas or morph into something completely different. That is the fun of making art, having this endless possibility. Being able to just sit inside your imagination and then to put it onto a canvas or piece of paper to let the rest of the world see a little glimpse into your mind. It is always interesting looking at other artist’s work the colors, the shapes, the way people look. It’s a glimpse into their world, into their mind.
