That one little saying brings the picture of a rave to my head or just channel 81 - BPM (beats per minute) the all club music channel on XM. Just add some techno tune and repeat those words and you’ll have yourself a club hit.

So now back on track to where I was originally headed. No internet at home, the router kicked the bucket last night. I am tempted to flush it, anyone want to take bets on if it will make it to its watery grave? It has been giving me so much trouble in the past few months. Every night I would be consistently without internet from around 6pm - 9pm which mind you are prime world of warcraft playing hours. I won’t blame it on the fact that I have three characters all stuck at level 16! Another story for another day, maybe later this week.

I ordered this book in the mail last week and I have just started reading it. If you have just gotten started in marketing your art, or are even a seasoned pro, her tips are invaluable.  I highly recommend it. I am working my way through some of the recommendations. One being organization. I may have taken that one a bit too seriously, as I have now got descriptions, sizes, medium, and whatever other notes I could think of for all of my paintings. A total of 109 not including 2008. I also started a filing system, cleaned my studio, and rearranged some things.

I am thinking of it all as a business, though it is only a part-time one, at least now I can think of it as one. I will be setting regular hours up for myself and really trying to structure my life around building my illustration business. If words could only describe how utterly excited I am that I actually have reached this epitome. Mind blowing I tell ya.

With said epitome, as well going through my past two years of work, made me come to the realization I need a bit more time to really refine my craft and start creating work that is at a professional level. So there won’t be many new works around here for awhile, the next few months I will be spending working out things creatively in the studio. Don’t worry my blog will not be neglected. I will fill it with photos of my progress, and as soon as the internet is up at home I will have some awesome pictures up of my new clean studio, and my organizing adventures. Which just happened to take up my entire weekend!
