I have a lot of fun with this project, and it has been very neat collecting quotes, and ideas to display them. Now to work on my photography a little.

I need to work on my photography (cloudy day, indoors, dark room), but otherwise this was so fun to make. I also realized I have a ton of necklaces!!

A few photos from my Daily Self Challenge.

I promised myself I would make a video to have up here by today. Didn’t happen. The unexpected came up and sidetracked me. That happens sometimes and I find it hard to get back on track. I know one of the things I need to work on this year is planning, and having to some extent things done well in advance that the unexpected doesn’t totally de-rail me. I’m going to work at it, and really sometimes that is all one can do.

Keep working in the directions of your dreams even if sometimes you are off course a little. 

Picking things up wherever and whenever you left off is far better than just abandoning ship because things aren’t going as planned. I have to admit though that I have just jumped ship after falling behind on something. I’m working on changing this though.

That brings me to the title of this post. I hadn’t planned on doing a challenge this year, but January 1st rolled around and I was on instagram, took a self portrait and decided that I could do this. I’m very proud of myself I’ve made it to day 32. (Haven’t posted today’s yet) I plan to do my best to keep up this practice, but I know if I miss a day or two that it is OK to just begin again.

Embrace the fact that I may just do this imperfectly! 

• A brand new re-designed logo! I’m in love with it.
• Also a new tagline, something i’ve been thinking up for awhile.
• A shiny and new homepage that has a slideshow, and dynamic content for easy updating!
• My blog is now wider, allowing me to post bigger images!
• Completely new about and contact page content, also finally added proper social media icons.
• New well organized portfolio.
• New pattern created just for the background. (I think i’ll be making patterns more often)
• Updated color scheme to go with my new logo. Doubt i’ll be giving up the pink and green anytime soon though.
• Using google fonts, to add some pizzaz!

I still have some more work to do around here though, there are a few more pages I will be adding in the coming weeks, and some minor tweaks. Do let me know if you see anything that is acting wonky!

Also, I thought this would be the perfect time to take a look back at how much this site has evolved over the years…

The farthest back I actually have is 2005 but at that time it was entirely about graphic design, and getting a job. I had a blog in 2006-2007, but didn’t have a full site at that time. So the farthest back I have screenshots is 2008. Here we go.
