Holidays Approaching

I’m currently in full production mode around here. Getting ready for an art fair next month, as well as making holiday cards, and working on my winter pendants! I also have a few other things in the works that I can’t wait to share with you guys!
Feels a bit odd working on winter and holiday related things right now in the middle of October when the leaves are falling, and I’m hoping the first snow is still well over a month away! It is my favorite time of year though. I love the first snow, holiday gatherings, Thanksgiving, and spending time with family and friends!
I realize now how each season gives me something back, and as fall starts to turn chilly and the winter approaches I’m given time! Time to spend inside guilt-free that I’m not wasting a beautiful summer day sitting inside my studio working. It’s a time to hibernate, slow down, drink more tea, and is also one of the most productive seasons for me when it comes to my art!
I may need to make sure I read this post again in February when I am done with cold weather and ready to move onto the next season.
What do you think this season gives to you? I’d love to know!
