Surprises, Boarding, and Road Trips

Believe it or not those three words pretty much sum up the past four days. I threw my Mom a surprise party for her birthday. Totally caught her off guard. I am pretty happy all the craziness surrounding that one day Is finally over, it was starting to get more stressful than necessary. An awesome party on Saturday was followed by a road trip out west on Sunday. Went snowboarding on Monday and it wasn?t all that bad but I am really feeling it today. They had the bunny hill closed so it forced me to be going down way to steep hills way too soon. I haven?t boarded in a few years, and it showed. Now I feel it too. I didn?t really fall all that much it was more just the power of keeping myself from speeding out of control down the hill that exerted more energy that necessary. We got back yesterday. Overall it was a nice calm trip, I like car rides that aren?t in bumper to bumper traffic it is so relaxing to be in a car that is going just a constant speed up and down rolling hills. Now if only I could bottle that feeling.
Weekly challenge painting to be posted later tonight, I am one day off because of the trip, but already on track for next week. So hopefully no more delays in kicking these out. There must be someone out there that actually looks forward to these things?
Or not.
